CVC Statistics
 
  Since 1996, Fundecitrus has been making annual survey that reflects the incidence of Citrus Variegated Chlorosis (CVC) in four major orange varieties (Pera Rio, Valencia, Natal and Hamlin). The survey is performed during the months prior to harvesting in the North, Northwest, West, Center and South producing zones according to the map below.

The chart bellow shows the levels of different symptoms and the percentage of healthy plantas according to the survey performed in 2005.
  Level 1 - symptoms only in the leaves.
Level 2 - plants with symptoms in the leaves and with small fruits; the fruit symptoms can be found in some area of the plant or in all the plant.

CVC INCIDENCE PER PRODUCING ZONE - 2005
    São Paulo State and part of the Triângulo Mineiro Region
  The chart bellow shows the levels of different symptoms recorded in the North, Northwest, Center, South and West producing zones according to the survey performed in 2005.
  Level 1 - symptoms only in the leaves.
Level 2 - plants with symptoms in the leaves and with small fruits; the fruit symptoms can be found in some area of the plant or in all the plant.
